Product Giveaway | Allied Medal Hangers | Better Than a Box!

It’s no secret, I love Racing Bling and Hardware (aka Finisher Medals and Awards). Some racers could care less about Awards, but I do care – and I am not ashamed to admit to it.

From the moment I received my first Finisher Medal at the Vegas Half in 2010 to my most recent race of this past week. I still enjoy receiving those medals and having the opportunity to share them with my kids (who received their first Finisher Medals this past weekend).

I have carefully displayed every bib, every race day photo and medal on a gigantic bulletin board in my office. My desk faces that bulletin board and serves as my motivator to keep moving forward.

Not too long ago I was introduced to Allied Medals Display of Redmond, WA. They are located is my hometown. Their office is situated about 4 blocks from the house I grew up in.

After browsing their website of incredible designs, I also noticed they create custom Medal Displays. I wanted one for 2011. I was thinking ahead, and knowing I would have a lot of medals this year (big smile!) – I wanted to designate my medals by year.

They agreed to send me a Custom-made Medal Display. See below.

What you see are my current 2011 Medals (the 2010 RnR Vegas Half hangs next to it). This hangs beautifully above my window (I had to double up the Medal Ribbons to keep them from hanging on my window).

When you order your own Medal Display – you will find their product far exceeds what you expect. Sturdy, solid and quite a bit larger than I imagined. For any athlete who wishes to display their medals, this is the rack you need.

I certainly will be purchasing one for every year – to display all my future medals, in the years to come.

Allied Medals has graciously offered a GREAT giveaway to my Blog followers!

One very lucky winner – will receive a FREE Medal Display! Yes, YOU can have your own Medal Display. The winner can pick any of the designs currently offered in their catalog.

To be eligible for the giveaway – TWO steps

1. MUST be a follower of my blog. It is the ONLY way I can contact you, if you are the winner.
AND
2. Leave a comment on my blog that you want to be entered into the drawing.

IT’S WORTH REPEATING - Be sure to do BOTH steps.

I had a previous drawing winner lose out on a great product because she was not a follower of my blog. Don’t be that person.

Follow THEN comment :)

Giveaway period: Friday, March 13th – Friday, March 20th at 5pmPST

Once a winner has been identified, he/she will be contacted via email and the winner has 24 hrs to reply with your name and shipping address. Failure to do so, will result in forfeiture of the prize.

*Winner will be announced on Twitter and on Facebook (First Name, Last Initial and Twitter ID)

You can follow Allied Running Medals Hangers at their Facebook Page

Good luck to everyone!

*I was not compensated for this review. Although, I did receive a complimentary rack – my views are my own.
